A qualified and experienced LMG jeweller will discuss your loss or theft over the telephone with the aid of a reference guide (please use the links at the foot of this page to view and print). He or she will normally request additional information to accurately assess the value of your claim, including photographs, receipts, pre-loss valuations or other forms of documentation confirming details / prices of the item(s).
Where items are damaged, it may be necessary to send you a pre-paid Special Delivery envelope so that the item can be submitted for inspection.
Once the loss, theft or damage has been fairly and reasonably validated, a member of the LMG team will contact you to discuss the most appropriate settlement option for you.
Alternatively your insurer may request that we provide them with a written report prior to their decision on settlement or reimbursement.
